San Juan Island, Roche Harbor Resort's formal gardens for lovely wedding ceremonies

Packages & Specials

Every seaside village has a marina and Roche Harbor is no exception. With a backdrop of beautiful island scenery, Roche Harbor has become one of the most popular boating destinations in the San Juan Islands. Guests from all over the world are fascinated with this pretty little harbor and its historical ambiance.

Friendly, polite marina staff will greet you as you come into the harbor, and they will help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Harbormaster, Kevin, and his crew want you to enjoy the Roche Harbor experience so you will come back and visit us again!

Voted in 2002 as one of the Top 10 Marinas in North America by Yachting Magazine, we are in the company of resorts in the Bahamas, Mississippi, Mexico, Florida and California. Yachting Magazine says "Roche Harbor blends into its remote location without imposing a feeling of isolation on those who visit".

Roche Harbor has an accommodating fuel dock where you can purchase your gasoline, diesel, propane and lube oils for your vessel. A pumpout service is located on this dock also.

You can select grocery supplies you might need, or may have forgotten, from our village market located on the wharf, including marine and fishing supplies, a great bottle of wine, fresh sandwiches or gourmet entertaining items.

The Laundry on the Wharf is located on the north side of the wharf - next to Lime Kiln Cafe. Using heavy duty machines and dryers, a great place to get your holiday laundry done in no time in this nice clean facility. A change machine is also located in this area.

We also have a US Post Office located at the Company Store! Hours of operation are from 10:30-1:30 weekdays, closed on holidays.

During the summer season, a San Juan Transit bus is available to take you around the island or into nearby Friday Harbor. Check the bus stop in the parking lot for times, or pick up a schedule from the Hotel de Haro front desk.

Be sure to catch the traditional "Colors Ceremony" at sunset every evening during summer, where the British, Canadian and U.S. flags are lowered to the sounds of each national anthem. Beware of the loud shot from the village cannon! An event you surely will not want to miss! (If you would like to send a surprise announcement to someone else in the marina during this event, you may do so by entering the message in a book kept at the front desk of Hotel de Haro. It will be read on the evening of your choice). On special holidays, watch the color guard jump into the cold water!
