Roche Harbor offers visitors to San Juan Island the perfect place to relax in a comfortable seaside setting while exploring the natural beauty of the islands.  We’ve been taking care of our guests for over 50 years with a warmth, generosity, and appreciation that keeps families coming back year after year.  Whether you’re a first-time guest or returning for the annual island vacation, you’re sure to find something in one of our accommodations that exceeds your expectations.

  • The Hotel de Haro is the centerpiece of the resort, built in 1886 as a place to entertain lime stone trading partners.  In the last 120 years, we’ve done many things to maintain an intimate, historic feel.
  • The Quarryman Hall is our most recent addition, and has exceeded even our highest expectations.  Resting majestically next to the historic hotel, we conceived this boutique-inspired hotel with comfort and convenience in mind.  You’ll want for little while staying in these spaciously laid out suites. 
  • The McMillin Suites look out over the resort on the hillside facing the marina.  These historic luxury rooms provide a romantic feel that no hotel room can match—ideal for a celebratory occasion or just to surprise your partner with a quick getaway.
  • The Condos on the west side of the harbor give couples and families a comfortable place to stay while exploring the island.  Recently upgraded with flatscreen TVs and new furnishings, you’ll find these spaces quite cozy and accommodating.
  • The Company Town Cottages on the east side of the harbor next to the pool are guest favorites for longer stays during the summer.  Equipped with BBQs and picnic tables, these are fine places to stay for a traditional family summer vacation.
  • The Village Homes are quickly becoming our most popular family accommodations, especially during the spring and fall when the weather doesn’t always cooperate.  With fully equipped gourmet kitchens and spacious living rooms, these houses are sure to bring the family together.  Many of the homes offer outstanding views and relaxing outdoor spaces.
