Join widely renowned birder and San Juan Island local, Tyler Davis, at the Sculpture Park in search of winged wildlife! There is a ton of bird biodiversity in the Roche Harbor area ranging from foraging warblers, waterfowl relaxing in the pond, goldfinches munching on thistles, and birds of prey circling high above. No matter what time of day or month of the year, there is always something to find!
The Monthly Bird Walks occur on the first Wednesday of every month from April through October and begins at 8 am, generally lasting a few hours until around 10 am.
Bring you binoculars or camera – you’re sure to see some amazing birds! The bird walks are free and intended for audiences of all ages and bird experience. No sign-ups in advance; just show up and be ready for a great time.
