Visit the McMillin Family burial temple set in a nearby fir forest. Roche Harbor founder, John S. McMillin envisioned a classically inspired memorial to house his family’s remains, but his son, Paul, left it unfinished and without a dome. Several McMillin family members – including John – are interred at this monument 20 minutes by foot, through the forest, past the Company Town burial area.
Ask the front desk staff at the Hotel de Haro for a history brochure and walking map.
