Exploring San Juan Island without a car has never been easier. The Friday Harbor Jolly Trolley provides seasonal transportation between Roche Harbor, Friday Harbor, and many of the island’s most popular attractions, making it a convenient option for resort guests without private transportation.
The trolley operates seasonally, generally from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with schedules coordinated around ferry arrivals and departures. Service includes stops at many of the island’s most popular destinations, including Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor, Lime Kiln Point State Park, English Camp, and other points of interest.
Planning Your Trip
Schedules and routes may vary throughout the season based on ferry schedules and special events. We recommend checking the latest schedule directly with the operator before your visit. The complete island loop takes approximately 90 minutes, and guests may hop on and off at designated stops throughout the day.
The Roche Harbor stop on each tour departs 10 minutes after the hour.

Roche Harbor Pickup Location
Catch the Jolly Trolley at Roche Harbor just a short walk from the resort village. The Roche Harbor stop is located west of the resort core, just beyond the bocce ball courts and the historic generator building.
Please note that when catching the Trolley from Roche Harbor, tickets must be purchased in cash. Please have cash available. There is an ATM in the lobby of the Hotel De Haro.
