This waterfront festival brings together locals and visitors alike for one of the most anticipated weekends of the season. Enjoy an afternoon and evening of live performances set on the Trek Ferry and marina breakwater, culminating with a headline performance by legendary rock band Big Head Todd & The Monsters.
Known for hits including Bittersweet and Broken Hearted Savior, Big Head Todd & The Monsters lead a lineup of regional and national talent that will make Float Fest part of an epic Labor Day weekend in Roche Harbor.

More Than a Music Festival
At its heart, Float Fest is a fundraiser benefiting the Community Cancer Fund of the San Juan Islands, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping island residents navigate the challenges of cancer treatment.
Through grants, transportation assistance, lodging support, and emergency financial aid, the organization helps ensure that no member of our community faces cancer alone. By attending Float Fest, making a donation, or participating in weekend events, patrons help support local families when they need it most.
