Kick off your Independence Day at 9:00 AM with our lively 5K Fun Run that starts right in front of the Hotel De Haro. Whether you’re a serious runner or just in it for the fun (and possibly a donut reward afterward), this is a perfect way to get your heart racing!
Games on the Lawn
For the Little Ones and the Young at Heart
At 10:30 AM, head over to the Pool Lawn for 'Kids' Games including the egg toss, pie eating contest, wheelbarrow race, and more! This is not just for the kids—adults are more than welcome to join in the fun too. Channel your inner youth with these games in a fun-filled atmosphere on the edge of the water!

Make your way to the West Lawn at 12:30 PM to enjoy a delightful performance by the UW Husky Alumni & Student Band. Their upbeat tunes and dance moves will surely get you in a festive mood while you soak up the sun and prep for the Donut Eating Contest.

It’s Time for a Sweet Challenge!
Get ready for the aroma of LKC donuts at 1:00 PM for the legendary Donut Eating Contest! Will you be the one to take the crown and eat your way to victory? Or will you just take part for the sugar rush? Either way, it’s all in good fun!

The Keith Highlanders is going to play their tunes for all to hear. We are very excited for this new addition to the 4th of July calendar!
Blindfolded Dinghy Race

At 4:00 PM, make your way to the iconic Log Rolling Competition! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or attempting this for the first time, it’s bound to provoke laughter and splashes as participants try to maintain their balance while showing off their skills.
