At Roche Harbor we pride ourselves in sourcing the finest local fresh and sustainable ingredients and preparing each menu item with care and attention to the smallest details. Our culinary team believes that preparing food too far in advance diminishes the experience. At our buffets, your guest will experience a restaurant style kitchen experience as our team go into action, pulling roasted meats directly from our ovens and carving to order, sautéing local vegetables, griddle searing fresh seafood gourmet meats. Our culinary team looks forward to serving our guests and is prepared to explain menu item
preparations, help with allergies, suggest alternatives and honor special requests.

All our menus offer many choices that allow you to create the experience that is best for your big event. Choosing the perfect menu can be a challenging task, but rest assured, our entire event team works directly with Chef Shaw and are experts in recipe knowledge, ingredients and preparations. When selecting a reception menu, we want to provide our guests with several options to choose from, which is why we have designed these menus to be progressive. As with our appetizer menus, when moving from the Castle Island menu to the Crane Island menu, your choices double, as you can order from both menus. The Waldron Island menu allows you to choose not only from the Waldron menu but from the Castle and Crane menus as well. And finally, The Afterglow Celebration Menu includes the opportunity to choose from all our reception menu choices.

With all these choices, selecting a menu that is perfect for the two of you can be daunting task as some to-be-wed couples may try to select items for individual guests with allergies or healthy lifestyle choices. Remember, this is your Big Night, and my advice is to order the items that get you excited and make your mouth water. Our events team is very knowledgeable and experienced at making quick substitutions to satisfy all your guests. We are eager to assist you in making this process a fun and stress-free experience.

During the event planning process, a few of your guests may inquire about menu items that meet their dietary restrictions, allergies, religious obligations, and/or lifestyle choices. To ease the communication challenges of these needs, and help us better serve all our guests, we have created an item for every served course that is called “My Lifestyle Choice”. This item is vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, nut free, egg free, animal protein free. All your guests that have special requests will receive this item.

We start with imported Arborio rice and stirring and slowly cooked while adding warm vegetable stock, allowing the fragrant rice to slowly absorb the rich vegetable stock, creating a creamy yet al dente rice.

Our Chef selects the finest vegetables from our local farms to create a farm to table experience. May include baby carrots, local Dog Island Shiitake & Oyster mushroom, baby squash, arugula, baby kale, Farm heirloom tomatoes and more. Garnished with virgin olive oil, balsamic syrup and toasted pine nuts.

Local Exotic Mushrooms and Black Truffle Oil GF, DF & VG

Fresh from Guemes Island, Dog Island Mushrooms Farm owner, Qi, raises Shiitake, Blue Oysters and King Oyster mushrooms.
We hand clean each mushroom and sauté a blend of all three mushroom in olive oil, garlic, rosemary and white wine then fold with our creamy risotto and garnish with green onions and black truffle oil.
